About the position

The Revenue Analyst at Lockton, Inc. plays a crucial role in the financial operations of the Texas Series. This position involves researching, compiling, analyzing, and maintaining account data to create the production revenue budget and ongoing forecasts. The Revenue Analyst will coordinate the production revenue budget and forecast, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in reporting. This role requires a proactive approach to identifying and solving problems, as well as providing technical and analytical support to various teams within the organization. In addition to budget coordination, the Revenue Analyst will develop and maintain various account tracking databases, participate in periodic status update meetings, and present monthly budgets and forecasts both in written and verbal formats. Building and maintaining professional relationships with Producers, Account Teams, and Lockton Leadership is essential, as is the ability to interact effectively with various stakeholders across the organization. The Revenue Analyst will also be responsible for actively seeking information and following up to obtain the necessary data for analysis and reporting. This position is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, possesses strong analytical skills, and has a solid understanding of financial principles. The Revenue Analyst will contribute to the overall success of the Texas Series by ensuring that financial data is accurate and actionable, ultimately supporting the company's commitment to delivering excellent service to clients and fostering a caring culture within the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Research, compile, analyze, and maintain account data for the production revenue budget and ongoing forecast.
  • Coordinate the production revenue budget and forecast for the Texas Series.
  • Identify and solve problems and escalated issues as required.
  • Provide technical and analytical support to teams.
  • Develop and maintain various account tracking databases.
  • Participate in periodic status update meetings, including written and verbal presentation of monthly budgets and forecasts.
  • Build and maintain professional relationships with Producers, Account Teams, and Lockton Leadership.
  • Interact with Producers, Associates, and additional Lockton offices.
  • Actively seek information and follow up to successfully obtain required data.
  • Perform other responsibilities as assigned or requested.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Risk Management, Business or related program; or equivalent education and/or work experience.
  • Minimum 1-year experience in an administrative, accounting support, and/or strategic planning role.
  • Strong technical aptitude and working knowledge of Microsoft Office products, particularly Excel.
  • Prior insurance industry work experience (preferred).
  • Prior utilization of Revenue Management Systems (preferred).
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Deductive reasoning and analytical skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate at all levels of the organization.
  • Effective organizational, prioritization, and negotiation skills.
