In addition to daily audits, the role includes reconciling cash variances by analyzing bank deposits, guided audit reports, historical patterns, and other relevant data to document findings accurately. The candidate will also review exception-based reporting to detect operational errors, training deficiencies, and potential dishonest activities. When potential dishonest activities are uncovered, the candidate will initiate investigations by forwarding audit findings to the Loss Prevention and Inventory Control Department. Collaboration is key in this role, as the candidate will work closely with various divisions, including Merchandising and Accounting, to resolve operational issues and discrepancies. Furthermore, the candidate will assist store personnel with any POS transaction issues that arise from the guided audit results, ensuring a smooth operational flow and adherence to compliance standards.
