About the position

The Revenue Analyst position at Daniels Health involves playing a crucial role in the monthly financial close process, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in financial reporting. The role requires a highly analytical individual who can support various accounting functions, including reconciliations, flux analyses, and audits, while also contributing to process improvements and automation initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Key contributor in the monthly financial close, ensuring accurate and timely results are delivered to management
• Assist in the design and scaling of revenue accounting processes, including revenue recognition
• Support business initiatives by providing guidance to internal teams for accounting and reporting requirements
• Prepare monthly account reconciliations, assist with flux analyses, and contribute to the financial reporting process
• Develop and document processes and controls, and identify opportunities for streamlining processes and increasing automation to improve the speed and efficiency of the monthly revenue close
• Support external and internal audit requirements related to specific areas of responsibility
• Assist with and manage various ad-hoc projects as needed

Requirements

• BS in Accounting/Finance
• 2+ years of experience in an accounting or financial analysis role
• Excellent communication skills
• Thrives in a fast paced and dynamic environment
• Self-driven and shows initiative
• Detail-oriented with great organizational skills
• Experience in applying revenue accounting guidance (ASC 606) and related reporting highly regarded
• Advanced MS Excel skills
• Sociable personality
• Experience in data analysis tools such as PowerBI
