About the position

The Revenue Analyst I plays a crucial role in ensuring timely and accurate revenue posting within the Medical University Hospital Authority. This position involves entering charges, resolving issues, and reconciling charge postings while supporting the preauthorization workflow. The analyst collaborates with various personnel involved in the revenue cycle to maximize revenue efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Ensure timely and accurate revenue posting.
• Enter charges and resolve issues related to charge postings.
• Reconcile charge postings at a detailed level.
• Support preauthorization workflow.
• Collaborate with personnel involved in the service/documentation/charge/claim/reimbursement cycle.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of two years' work experience in hospital revenue cycle operations related to charging, coding, and reimbursement.
• Knowledge of data processing techniques.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to analyze data and solve complex problems.
• Proficient with Microsoft products.
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
• Strong communication skills.

Nice-to-haves

• Some college education preferred.
• Medical terminology knowledge.
• CRCA Certification preferred.
