About the position

The Revenue Analyst at WellNow Urgent Care plays a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and appropriateness of revenue through collaboration with the Revenue Cycle and Clinical Documentation/Coding teams. This position involves analyzing financial data, developing procedures, and performing ad-hoc analyses to support financial performance and profitability. The analyst will also lead financial reviews and maintain reporting on clinical operations to enhance revenue generation.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Revenue Cycle and Clinical Documentation/Coding teams to ensure accurate revenue processes.
• Review internal processes and develop procedures for revenue accuracy.
• Perform ad-hoc analysis and recommend corrective actions as needed.
• Update key reporting and metrics related to revenue and billing.
• Analyze financial data and investigate variances to determine root causes.
• Develop and execute action plans and SOPs to improve profitability and financial performance.
• Document findings, prepare reports, and make recommendations based on analysis.
• Lead monthly financial reviews with operational leaders and communicate profitability drivers.
• Develop collaborative relationships with operational and support center leaders.
• Support the Finance management team with various projects.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in data analysis, operational finance, medical office operations, billing, coding, or reporting.
• Demonstrated ability to think from both financial and business perspectives.
• Strong written, verbal communication, and presentation skills.
• Intermediate skills with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• Report writing skills are a plus.
• Ability to excel in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
