About the position

The Revenue Analyst at JONATHAN Y DESIGNS is responsible for optimizing revenue streams through data analysis of pricing strategies, sales performance, inventory levels, shipping costs, and customer purchasing behavior. This role involves collaboration with various teams to drive strategic decisions that enhance profitability and support long-term growth.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Sales, Logistics, and Planning to ensure pricing and promotional strategies align with business goals.
  • Work closely with the Sales team to set revenue targets using historical sales data, promotional plans, and market trends.
  • Analyze customer demand, competitor pricing, and cost of production to provide recommendations on pricing and promotional strategies to support revenue growth and profitability.
  • Monitor the effectiveness of promotional activities and recommend changes where necessary.
  • Optimize inventory placement and increase visibility by placing slow-moving SKUs in prominent locations on the website.
  • Work with the Planning team to ensure that inventory levels are aligned with customer demand and prevent excess inventory.
  • Conduct a thorough analysis of the inventory to identify slow-moving SKUs and heavy inventory.
  • Work with the Logistics team to analyze shipping costs, optimize shipping strategies, and evaluate their impact on profitability.
  • Develop plans to balance cost efficiency with customer satisfaction regarding delivery times and shipping fees.
  • Leverage data to ensure that promotion and discount levels drive sales growth without compromising profitability.

Requirements

  • Strong organization and interpersonal skills with a high attention to detail.
  • Ability to prioritize and work on multiple projects in a deadline-driven environment.
  • Knowledge of pricing and promotional strategies in a consumer goods industry is preferred.
  • Passionate about data and curious about consumer behavior.
  • Proficiency with Excel for full data analysis, insight synthesis, and presentation.
