About the position

The Revenue Analyst plays a crucial role in the Revenue Management team at Park Central Hotel, responsible for preparing and analyzing revenue reports to support the implementation of yield strategies. This position involves utilizing various measurement tools to identify revenue opportunities and ensure accurate reporting and inventory management.

Responsibilities

  • Accurate preparation and distribution of daily, weekly, monthly revenue reports including market segmentation analysis and production reports.
  • Assist with ensuring all rates are loaded and inventory maintenance is correct.
  • Perform audits and maintenance on systems such as PMS, CRS, RMS, and Sales & Catering Systems.
  • Communicate strategies and procedures to other departments as required.
  • Maintain group pick-up reports and communicate with Sales regarding upcoming groups cut-offs.
  • Participate in weekly revenue management meetings and prepare related report information.
  • Monitor and analyze competition through shop reports and the Internet to identify selling strategies and market trends.
  • Act as the Director of Revenue in their absence.
  • Assist in preparing short and long term forecasts.
  • Provide administrative support for the Revenue Management Team.
  • Review and analyze reports such as OTA Insights, STR, Demand 360, and present revenue opportunities.
  • Update MAR's in Delphi as required under the guidance of Revenue Managers.
  • Analyze local events and activities and project their effects on revenue opportunities.
  • Prepare 14 Day Forecast for distribution to Management team.
  • Conduct Group audit checks to ensure Delphi and the Property Maintenance System are in balance.
  • Place test calls to ensure accuracy of rate quoting and selling approach.
  • Ensure accuracy from the daily Flash Report.
  • Maintain knowledge of all special rates and promotions.
  • Attend all hotel required meetings and trainings.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 1 year experience in the Hospitality, preferably in Hotel Management.
  • Bachelor's Degree.
  • Knowledge of industry reports such as STR, Demand 360, OTA Insights, etc.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
  • Ability to work quickly in a high-pressure environment.
  • Ability to communicate clearly both verbally and in writing.
  • Excellent time management skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and follow-up.
