About the position

The Revenue Analyst at Marriott International plays a crucial role in managing room inventory to maximize revenue, ensuring accuracy in information, and enhancing automation efforts within the reservation system. This position involves preparing competitive analyses and supporting documents for sales strategy meetings, managing room authorizations, rates, and restrictions, and conducting end-of-month revenue management reports and audits.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in managing room inventory to maximize group revenue and maintain information accuracy.
  • Prepare competitive analyses and supporting documents for sales strategy meetings.
  • Manage room authorizations, rates, and restrictions, including communicating rate restrictions and property strategies.
  • Conduct all end-of-month revenue management reports and audits, providing forecasting insights and addressing areas of need.
  • Generate, process, and accurately update all property and market revenue management reports, serving as the primary source for analytical needs.
  • Assist in system maintenance, including entering rate obstacles, monitoring forecasted demand, and updating group forecasts.
  • Train new associates on revenue management tools as needed.
  • Support the implementation of sales strategies within hotels in reservation and inventory systems.
  • Comply with all company safety policies and procedures, ensuring a professional appearance.
  • Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information and protect company assets.
  • Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards, anticipating and addressing their service needs.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with others, answering phones with appropriate etiquette.
  • Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others, listening and responding appropriately to concerns.
  • Meet quality assurance expectations and standards.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • At least 1 year of relevant work experience.
