About the position

The Revenue Analyst role at MHG Hotels is a vital support position within the Revenue Management Department. This role encompasses a variety of administrative duties, alongside the management and monitoring of revenue systems. The Revenue Analyst will collaborate with various hotel teams to ensure that each property successfully meets its revenue goals. This position requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate effectively with team members across different levels of the organization. The Revenue Analyst will be responsible for compiling and updating essential reporting data, monitoring pricing strategies, and building and maintaining rate structures. Additionally, the role involves managing and monitoring the performance of revenue management systems, as well as maintaining revenue management tools, including brand software and strategy spreadsheets. Staying current with all required brand training and certifications is also a key aspect of this position.

Responsibilities

  • Compiling and updating all necessary reporting data

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Bachelor's degree in business or related field preferred
  • 2-3 years of successful experience in revenue management or hotel operations role, preferably overseeing multiple properties
  • 3-5 years of experience in the hospitality field
  • Exemplary analytical skills and math skills
  • Ability to interpret data
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Computer proficiency including MS Office, Google Suite, and revenue management software
