Grow your career as a Revenue Analyst with ALG Vacations. In this role, you will be responsible for executing Revenue Management functions for our vacation packages program. You will drive maximum profits through setting optimal price levels and strategies via developing and managing various financial, statistical models and processes. A successful Revenue Analyst will develop pricing strategy based on sales trends, competitive environment, revenue goals, or cost of good changes. You will be accountable for monitoring, tracking and achieving product goals, actively monitor, evaluate, manage, and recap pricing and performance for applicable products. You will drive profitability by using strategic and innovative thinking through data analysis, maintain accurate and competitive pricing that meets the objectives for the product/destination, and communicate product financial performance while coordinating with other teams to ensure actions/strategies are in place to address performance. Additionally, you will analyze sales trends and profits to measure goals for assigned products, support hotel utilization goals, and help create and leverage optimization and machine learning models and processes as applicable. Demonstrating a commitment to Hyatt core values is essential in this role.

Responsibilities

  • Develop pricing strategy based on sales trends, competitive environment, revenue goals, or cost of good changes.
  • Monitor, track and achieve product goals.

  • Drive profitability through strategic and innovative thinking via data analysis.
  • Maintain accurate and competitive pricing that meets the objectives for the product/destination.

  • Analyze sales trends and profits to measure goals for assigned products.
  • Support hotel utilization goals and development/communication of specific necessary needs.
  • Help create and leverage optimization and machine learning models and processes as applicable.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business related field; preferably economics, finance, statistics or marketing.
  • Knowledge of computer spreadsheets and word processing programs, proficient in Excel.
  • Excellent math and analytical skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational & time management skills, detail oriented.
  • Ability to work independently and operate effectively within a team environment.
  • Ability to work well under stress, problem solve under time constraints and manage multiple projects at one time.
  • Ability and willingness to operate in a fast-paced, complex corporate environment.
  • Ability to travel as required, both nationally and internationally (approximately 5%).
