About the position

The Revenue Analyst position at ICAN Inc. is an accounting role focused on bridging the gap between accounting and program leadership. The primary goal is to ensure that program leaders receive accurate and timely information essential for the effective operation of their programs. This role involves managing billing processes for contracts and grants, overseeing revenue collection and reporting, and ensuring data integrity across financial systems.

Responsibilities

  • Review and manage billing processes for all contracts and grants.
  • Serve as internal lead on ICAN contracts, managing the billing cycle and ensuring compliance with funder requirements.
  • Act as a back-up for contract billing responsibilities and managed care billing processes.
  • Process all accounts receivable entries and ensure timely recording of incoming funds.
  • Lead quarterly Accounts Receivable (AR) aging reviews and generate reports to maintain up-to-date AR status.
  • Manage revenue payer sheets and coordinate quarterly reviews for consistency in revenue reporting.
  • Oversee tracking and reporting of revenue from Square transactions and ensure sales tax compliance.
  • Count and report cash from transactions, ensuring accurate deposit and reconciliation.
  • Process all electronic incoming funds and enter them accurately into ICAN's financial systems.
  • Ensure alignment between AWARDS (EHR) accounts receivable and FundEZ for consistent revenue tracking and reporting.
  • Pull and analyze AR aging reports quarterly and prepare detailed summaries for finance leadership.
  • Support the finance team by preparing detailed revenue reports to identify trends, risks, and areas for revenue optimization.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy or a Business-related degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 2-3 years in financial or revenue analysis, billing, or accounts receivable management.
  • Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, Google Suite, Adobe PDF, ADP Payroll, and cloud-based software.
  • Familiarity with Fund EZ is preferred.
