About the position

The Revenue Analytics Analyst at The Trade Desk plays a crucial role in providing analytical and operational support to the commercial teams. This position focuses on generating revenue-driving insights through data-driven analyses, acting as a key business partner to enhance decision-making across the organization. The Analyst will work closely with Business Development and Client Services to identify revenue opportunities, build complex financial models, and optimize resource investments.

Responsibilities

  • Act as an analytics partner for Business Development and Client Services to identify key revenue opportunities and create insightful analyses.
  • Build complex models from scratch to support contract negotiations with Business Development leaders.
  • Optimize resource investments through supporting analyses and creation of reports and key metrics while ensuring data integrity.
  • Support new initiatives and ad hoc analyses as required.

Requirements

  • 1+ years of experience in FP&A, Strategic Planning, Corporate Development, investment banking, or management consulting.
  • BA/BS and/or MBA/MS degree in business, finance, accounting, economics, or a related field.
  • Knowledge of or prior experience in programmatic advertising or the internet is a plus.
  • Experience in building detailed financial models that provide easily digestible insights.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present to senior management clearly and concisely.
  • Intellectually curious with a proactive approach to learning and teaching others about industry impacts on KPIs and OKRs.
  • Experience in implementing processes and building reports in collaboration with BI and System Engineering partners.
  • Strong analytical skills, mastery of Microsoft Excel, and experience with SQL or Python for writing queries and creating reports in Oracle.
