About the position

The Revenue and Billing Management (Financial) Analyst position at Cushman & Wakefield involves developing, preparing, and distributing internal managerial reporting to support business intelligence analysis and strategic planning. Under supervision, the analyst will respond to ad hoc reporting requests to provide senior management with insights necessary for informed business decisions. This role requires a specialized functional background in finance, accounting, or operations management to effectively understand and support departmental requirements. Key responsibilities include coordinating the data feed of operational and financial data from various internal systems and departments, consolidating and distributing informative reporting and analysis, and creating templates or data collection tools as needed. The analyst will ensure the integrity, consistency, and accuracy of data while interpreting reports to identify potential areas for improvement. Additionally, the role involves assessing current methods and providing management with recommendations for process changes that lead to increased efficiency. The analyst will assist in researching new reporting and dashboard tools, working closely with the business intelligence team to develop requirements and user stories. Training and introducing new tools to the field will also be part of the responsibilities. The position demands the ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining positive relationships with internal customers. Presentations to senior management and other team members will be required as needed, along with other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate data feed of operational and financial data from internal systems and departments.
  • Consolidate and distribute informative reporting and analysis, including forward-looking pipeline opportunities and historical asset/market performance.
  • Create templates or other data collection/distribution tools as needed.
  • Ensure integrity, consistency, and accuracy of data.
  • Interpret and utilize reporting to identify potential areas of improvement.
  • Assess current methods and provide management with recommendations for process changes.
  • Assist in the research of new reporting/dashboard tools.
  • Work with the business intelligence team to develop requirements/user stories.
  • Aid in the introduction and training of new tools deployed to the field.
  • Manage and prioritize multiple project streams efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Interface with BI team, finance and accounting, operations, and project management personnel on various projects.
  • Present to senior management, supervisors, and asset services team members as required.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or other specialized functional area (management, finance, real estate, accounting, etc.) preferred.
  • Background and knowledge in Commercial or Residential real estate preferred.
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Office, specifically Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint, and Power BI.
  • Ability to pull and comprehend reports from Workday/Yardi.
  • Strong organizational, communication (written and verbal), interpersonal, and multi-tasking skills.
  • Computer literate, including Microsoft Office Suite and/or property management software.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with property management software such as Yardi.
  • Experience in a real estate organization/management operations.
