The Revenue and Billing Management (Financial) Analyst plays a crucial role in supporting business intelligence analysis and strategic planning within the organization. Under supervision, this position is responsible for developing, preparing, and distributing internal managerial reporting that provides senior management with the insights necessary for informed business decisions. The analyst will coordinate the data feed of operational and financial data from various internal systems and departments, ensuring the integrity, consistency, and accuracy of the data provided. This role may require a specialized functional background in finance, accounting, or operations management to effectively understand and support departmental requirements. In addition to data coordination, the analyst will consolidate and distribute informative reporting and analysis, which includes both forward-looking pipeline opportunities and historical asset/market performance. The creation of templates and other data collection or distribution tools will be necessary to facilitate this process. The analyst will also interpret and utilize reporting to identify potential areas for improvement, providing management with recommendations for changes to processes that could lead to increased efficiency. The role involves assisting in the research of new reporting and dashboard tools, collaborating with the business intelligence team to develop requirements and user stories, and aiding in the introduction and training of new tools as they are deployed. The analyst must demonstrate the ability to manage and prioritize multiple project streams efficiently while maintaining positive relationships with internal customers in a fast-paced, highly matrixed environment. Presentations to senior management, supervisors, and asset services team members will also be required as part of the role, along with other duties as assigned.
