The Revenue Cycle Analyst plays a crucial role in the successful implementation and maintenance of the Cerner EHR system and future technological solutions within United Surgical Partners International (USPI). This position requires a comprehensive understanding of both clinical and business applications of the Cerner system. The analyst will collaborate with hospital managers, end users, and other members of the EHR revenue cycle management (RCM) and supply chain management (CIM) analyst team to implement new Cerner solutions and maintain existing systems. Responsibilities include problem-solving, educating and training staff, testing and implementing fixes, and planning for the integration of new technology. Key responsibilities include providing necessary support for RCM and CIM solutions across 14 hospitals, maintaining the Cerner Scheduling and Registration Solutions, and managing workflow functions in the Cerner Patient Accounting Solution. The analyst will also assist in maintaining an enterprise charge master and the Cerner Supply Chain solution, which involves adding new vendors and supply items. Additionally, the role requires preparing test strategy documents and specifications, managing program testing, and ensuring that the system meets customer expectations. The ideal candidate will possess excellent organizational skills, strong oral and written communication abilities, and the capacity to work both independently and as part of a team. The role demands the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment while effectively communicating with EHR team professionals and hospital management. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, is essential, along with extensive knowledge of Cerner revenue cycle solutions, including claims processing, patient billing, and coding.
