About the position

The Revenue Cycle Analyst at Cedars-Sinai is responsible for analyzing trends within the revenue cycle, assessing variances, and developing reports to monitor financial performance. This role involves collaboration with management and key staff across various departments, including Finance and Medical Network. The analyst will summarize data, prepare presentation materials, and make recommendations based on their analyses to identify opportunities and risks within the revenue cycle.

Responsibilities

• Analyzing trends to determine where variances are occurring and developing reports to assess these variances.
• Summarizing information, data, and recommendations, and preparing presentation materials.
• Presenting findings to management as needed.
• Making recommendations based on overall analysis to effectively monitor areas of opportunity/risk.
• Creating and developing regular and ad-hoc reports.
• Conducting payor policy analysis and review.
• Analyzing denial and revenue cycle trends.
• Using independent judgment to resolve issues.
• Completing complex/special assignments.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business or a related field preferred.
• A minimum of 1 year of proven experience as an analyst (revenue cycle, data, financial, business, or related) required.
• A minimum of 5 years of proven experience in PB Revenue Cycle preferred.
