The Revenue Cycle Analyst assigned to manage Epic Hospital Billing Security and Training plays a vital role in a high-profile group tasked with improving revenue results by taking a global view of highly complex clinical and financial processes, functions, and system interdependencies across the spectrum of patient care and enterprise business operations. This position provides technical expertise and direction in the analysis, design, build, testing, and support of the Resolute and Charge Router Epic applications. The analyst employs creative and innovative solutions to application-specific and integrated workflows, determining training requirements and implementing security configurations necessary to ensure end users are equipped to perform critical job functions across the Enterprise Revenue Cycle. As the Lead Hospital Billing Security Analyst, the individual coordinates and provisions Epic system application access for Hospital Billing and Enterprise Coding Teams across organizations. This role is also responsible for Hospital Billing-related security for other users and teams, acting as a consultant to other Security Leads to ensure proper Hospital Billing access for their users. The analyst serves as the Principal Trainer for Epic Resolute Hospital Billing/Single Billing Office & Charge Router applications and is responsible for the Epic Upgrade Training/Communication Lead for Hospital Billing and Charge Router. These Principal Trainer roles are essential to sustaining OHSU's Honor Roll designation and grant award with Epic Systems Corporation. The position involves independently designing training programs, developing documentation, and delivering training and support to a variety of Epic users. The analyst coordinates and provisions Epic system application access following trainee competency assessments and leads integrated training projects to support overall revenue cycle operations. The role requires a comprehensive understanding of how integrated Epic applications support revenue cycle workflows and processes, along with the ability to document these processes and provide necessary documentation to staff and customers.
