About the position

The Revenue Cycle Analyst at Grand View Health is responsible for supporting the business solutions within the Revenue Cycle solutions portfolio. This includes charge services, health information management, and patient accounting. The role involves implementing and providing ongoing support for revenue cycle applications, evaluating designs, and making necessary modifications to meet operational objectives. The analyst will also provide technical support, coordinate work assignments, and assist in training and documentation development.

Responsibilities

  • Support the business solutions within the Revenue Cycle solutions portfolio.
  • Implement and provide ongoing support of revenue cycle applications.
  • Evaluate design and determine modifications for revenue cycle applications.
  • Provide technical support to entities as needed.
  • Coordinate work assignments to meet deadlines and ensure progress.
  • Assist users with training and development of user documentation.
  • Develop system design and implement strategies based on operational needs analysis.
  • Evaluate, design, build, test, and implement software and develop systemwide reports.
  • Maintain production systems for reliable performance.
  • Prepare unit, system, and integrated test plans and methodologies.
  • Provide day-to-day operations support to customers.
  • Coordinate efforts between stakeholders to gather requirements and develop specifications.
  • Identify data integrity issues and analyze data for process improvement opportunities.
  • Perform data analysis to extract requirements and ensure accurate processing and reporting.
  • Work effectively on project teams and meet deadlines according to project manager's expectations.
  • Build, test, and maintain integration points with revenue cycle and clinical solutions.
  • Provide ongoing application support and troubleshoot problems.

Requirements

  • Associate's degree and over 5 to 7 years of equivalent revenue cycle experience.
  • Bachelor's degree and 3 to 5 years of experience with MEDITECH application or other revenue cycle application.
  • Strong analytical, interpersonal, customer service, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • General familiarity with user business practices and terminology sufficient to support applications.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in building dictionaries or tables for revenue cycle.
