About the position

The Global Revenue Cycle Analyst at Bandwidth plays a crucial role in ensuring that global customers receive accurate and timely invoices. This position requires a detail-oriented individual who can manage complex functions and adapt to a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will be an inspiring team member with strong analytical skills and critical thinking abilities, capable of solving problems efficiently. The role involves confirming the completion of M07 and S07 jobs, utilizing multiple systems to correct errors, and making necessary changes to ensure accurate billing. The analyst will run monthly queries during the billing cycle to validate charges associated with Non-Recurring Charges (NRC) and Monthly Recurring Charges (MRC), ensuring that results align with previous months and documenting the total revenue associated with these charges. In addition to running the monthly billing cycle, the analyst will be responsible for utilizing various billing platforms and resources to ensure the accurate and timely delivery of customer invoices. This includes providing assistance to internal teams such as Finance, BDO, and Billing Support with billing cycle inquiries, researching issues, analyzing large data sets, and assisting with solutions via the Zendesk ticket queue. The analyst will also perform monthly billing cycle audits for multiple products to validate charge accuracy and work with internal teams to confirm unexpected changes and identify issues that require resolution. As a subject matter expert on Bandwidth products, the analyst will regularly attend product meetings to gain knowledge about new and existing products. They will also attend and sometimes lead billing cycle stakeholder meetings, documenting meeting notes to inform the team and absent stakeholders. The role requires effective communication with Bandwidth leadership to articulate status updates, define critical issues and impacts, design mitigation plans, and drive required decisions. Overall, the Global Revenue Cycle Analyst is expected to enhance the department and organization’s reputation by accepting ownership of new and different requests, driving projects to completion with a focus on accuracy and communication.

Responsibilities

  • Confirm the completion of M07 and S07 jobs.
  • Utilize multiple systems to correct errors and ensure accurate billing.
  • Run monthly queries during the billing cycle to validate charges associated with NRC and MRC jobs.
  • Document the total amount of revenue associated with monthly billing.
  • Quarterly run the monthly billing cycle using multiple billing platforms and resources.
  • Ensure accurate and timely delivery of customer invoices.
  • Assist internal teams with billing cycle inquiries such as Finance, BDO, and Billing Support.
  • Research issues and analyze large data sets to provide solutions via Zendesk ticket queue.
  • Perform monthly billing cycle audits for multiple products to validate charge accuracy.
  • Work with internal teams to confirm unexpected changes and identify issues for resolution.
  • Drive projects to completion with a focus on accuracy and communication.
  • Act as a subject matter expert on Bandwidth products.
  • Attend product meetings to gain knowledge on new and existing products.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • At least 2+ years experience in billing
  • 1-2 years analytical experience
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work within outlined working conditions
  • Ability to communicate complex information clearly and concisely
  • Strong MS Excel skills
  • Critical thinking, analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
  • Ability to focus, complete tasks accurately, and thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to think creatively, improve processes, and resolve problems effectively.
