About the position

The Revenue Integrity Analyst plays a crucial role in ensuring accurate revenue capture and billing processes within the healthcare organization. Reporting to the Director or Manager of Revenue Integrity, this position serves as a key contact for various stakeholders, including Service Line Directors and clinical staff, to educate and implement best practices in professional and hospital revenue cycle management. The analyst is tasked with improving workflows and operational efficiencies to maximize revenue reimbursement while adhering to regulatory standards.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for Service Line Directors, Managers, and clinical support staff regarding revenue charge capture and billing processes.
• Educate providers and clinical colleagues on accurate professional and facility billing and revenue capture.
• Assist in implementing new revenue capture procedures within the hospital chargemaster (CDM).
• Develop workflows to ensure timely and accurate revenue capture for Lahey Health System.
• Seek to improve workflow, efficiency, accuracy, and reimbursement through operational enhancements.
• Ensure maximum net revenue reimbursement is attained and sustained.

Requirements

• Experience in healthcare revenue cycle management or a related field.
• Strong understanding of CMS and third-party payer regulations.
• Ability to educate and communicate effectively with clinical and administrative staff.
• Proficiency in developing workflows and operational processes.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with hospital chargemaster (CDM) management.
• Familiarity with billing software and revenue cycle management systems.
