About the position

The Revenue Cycle Analyst maintains and supports the integrity of Aspen Valley Hospital District's Revenue Cycle applications, processes and associated programs for continuity, standardization and the specific needs of regulatory requirements. The position works closely with Billing, Admissions, HIM, Scheduling, Compliance, external vendors and others involved with the Revenue Cycle. They perform a variety of computer systems administration and support tasks, which may include monitoring, analyzing, auditing, reporting, constructing, documenting, testing, maintaining, and troubleshooting revenue cycle software applications and processes, as well as coordinating and overseeing new revenue cycle application implementations.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and support the integrity of Revenue Cycle applications and processes.
  • Work closely with Billing, Admissions, HIM, Scheduling, Compliance, and external vendors.
  • Perform computer systems administration and support tasks.
  • Monitor, analyze, audit, report, construct, document, test, maintain, and troubleshoot revenue cycle software applications.
  • Coordinate and oversee new revenue cycle application implementations.

Requirements

  • At least two years of experience in a related field within a healthcare organization.

Nice-to-haves

  • American Academy of Professional Coders - Certified Professional Coder-(CPC) preferred.
  • American Association of Medical Audit Specialist - Certified Medical Audit Specialist (CMAS) preferred.
  • Experience with EPIC preferred.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology preferred.
  • Bilingual in Spanish preferred.
