About the position

The Revenue Cycle Applications Analyst III is responsible for collaborating with system management to identify, analyze, prioritize, and resolve system needs within the revenue cycle. This role involves configuring, maintaining, and monitoring systems, while also providing suggestions for application modifications and process changes. The analyst will support various revenue cycle functions including registration, billing, coding, and scheduling, and must possess strong customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with system management to identify and resolve system needs.
• Configure, maintain, and monitor revenue cycle applications.
• Provide suggestions for application modifications and process changes.
• Develop functional specifications and operational process flows for system enhancements.
• Produce and provide analysis through reports and dashboards to management.
• Develop metrics and KPIs to monitor performance and adherence to SLAs.
• Support multiple concurrent projects and educate team members on system applications.
• Demonstrate initiative and creativity in problem resolution.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or Information Management, or equivalent experience.
• 5 years of experience in a healthcare-related setting with knowledge of Patient Access and Revenue Cycle systems.
• Understanding of information system technology and database applications.
• Experience with MS SQL and report automation.

Nice-to-haves

• EPIC certification in relevant modules.
• Experience in EMR installations.
