About the position

The Revenue Cycle Applications Analyst, Senior will collaborate with various stakeholders to design, develop, implement, and operationalize revenue cycle information systems. This role involves analyzing user needs, generating system specifications, and ensuring data integrity while acting as an application administrator. The incumbent will also manage software upgrades and facilitate communication between users and vendors, all while maintaining system functionality to support departmental productivity.

Responsibilities

  • Address customer questions, concerns, and enhancement requests while maintaining a professional image.
  • Establish project goals, milestones, and procedures in collaboration with team leaders and managers.
  • Monitor and report on project task progress, leading small to medium projects and facilitating cross-functional meetings.
  • Analyze documentation and requirements to design and develop solutions that meet organizational needs.
  • Participate in performance improvement activities and pursue business transformation initiatives.
  • Act as a subject matter expert for department functions related to system implementation and management.
  • Generate standard and ad hoc reports, including custom reports as required.
  • Train new and current staff on applicable systems and applications, including vendor training for new systems.
  • Fulfill on-call requirements and perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.
  • 5 years of relevant experience required; if no bachelor's degree, 9 years of relevant experience required.
  • 3 years of experience in an IS healthcare setting.
  • Two full life cycle implementations experience required.
  • Good organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple activities in a rapidly changing environment.
  • Strong customer service focus.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Nice-to-haves

  • Consulting experience preferred.
  • Healthcare experience in either Ambulatory or Acute Care setting preferred.
  • Familiarity with 3M, PBAR, MedSeries4, Change Healthcare, nThrive, Patient Keeper, and/or Revenue Cycle experience (Scheduling, Registration, HIM coding & abstracting, Patient Accounting and Billing) is a plus.

Benefits

  • Competitive salary range of $110,240.00 - $181,896.00 based on experience and qualifications.
