The Revenue Cycle Applications Analyst I plays a crucial role in the management and optimization of revenue cycle information systems. Under the supervision of department leaders and experienced analysts, this position involves collaboration with external vendors, system owners, community partners, contractors, and client leadership to design, develop, implement, and operationalize various revenue cycle applications. The incumbent will work with systems such as PBAR, Siemens MedSeries 4, Cerner, Change Healthcare, nThrive (MedAssets) Suite, Relay Assurance Plus, Visiquate, GE Centricity, and PatientKeeper, among others. This role requires a thorough understanding of user needs to identify and document IT design specifications, conduct need-gap analyses, and generate system scope and objectives. In addition to application development, the Revenue Cycle Applications Analyst I acts as an application administrator, ensuring data integrity and system security, extracting and analyzing data, and facilitating communication between users and vendors. The analyst will also manage software upgrades, implementations, and conversions while maintaining system functionality to support workflow efficiency and productivity. The position emphasizes direct customer service, requiring the analyst to address customer inquiries and concerns while participating in project-related activities. The role also involves generating and maintaining reports using various technologies, including IBM Showcase, QlikView, Cerner Command Language (CCL), OnDemand, and Siemens MedSeries 4 Query/Reports. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, enabling them to develop and implement solutions that enhance system workflows and meet organizational needs. They will also assist in training staff on new systems and applications, ensuring that all team members are equipped to utilize the technology effectively. The Revenue Cycle Applications Analyst I must be willing to fulfill on-call duties and manage additional tasks as assigned, demonstrating flexibility and a commitment to the organization's success.
