About the position

The Revenue Cycle Applications Analyst II plays a crucial role in the design, development, implementation, and operational management of revenue cycle information systems. This position requires collaboration with various stakeholders, including external vendors and leadership, to ensure that systems meet organizational needs and enhance operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Work with external vendors, system owners, and community partners to design and implement revenue cycle information systems.
• Identify and document IT design specifications based on user needs assessments.
• Generate need-gap analyses to evaluate existing or proposed systems.
• Train new staff members on applicable systems and applications.
• Fulfill on-call duties and perform other assigned tasks as needed.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or 6 years of relevant experience required.
• High School Diploma is a Must!
• 3-5 years of experience with Soarian application and HL7 interface troubleshooting.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in an IS healthcare setting.
• Strong customer service skills to address customer questions and concerns efficiently.
• Experience in solution design and development, including analyzing requirements and formulating objectives.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to propose innovative solutions.
• Technical knowledge of application build, design, and industry best practices.
• Project management skills to work independently on projects and monitor progress.
• Reporting and analytics skills to generate reports using tools like IBM Showcase and QlikView.

Nice-to-haves

• Familiarity with systems like 3M, PBAR, MedSeries4, Change Healthcare, nThrive, and PatientKeeper.
