About the position

The Revenue Cycle Applications Analyst, Senior will be responsible for designing, developing, implementing, and operationalizing revenue cycle information systems. This role involves collaboration with external vendors, system owners, community partners, contractors, and leadership to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of revenue cycle processes. The analyst will leverage their expertise in various applications and systems to conduct need-gap analyses and ensure data integrity and security management.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement revenue cycle information systems including Soarian, PBAR, Siemens MedSeries 4, Cerner, and others.
• Conduct need-gap analysis and document information technology design specifications based on user needs.
• Generate and maintain standard and custom reports using technologies like IBM Showcase and QlikView.
• Manage system security and ensure data integrity during software upgrades and implementations.
• Lead or participate in projects, managing timelines and ensuring timely delivery of solutions.
• Provide customer service by handling service requests and resolving problems effectively.
• Analyze workflows to improve productivity and system efficiency.
• Be available for on-call duties as required.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience; 9 years of relevant experience can substitute for this requirement.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant revenue cycle experience in billing, patient accounting, scheduling, or coding.
• Expertise in Soarian and HL7 interface troubleshooting.
• Strong technical skills in revenue cycle applications such as PBAR, Siemens MedSeries 4, Cerner, and others.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills for conducting need-gap analysis and designing system solutions.
• Project management experience in leading or participating in projects.
• Proven customer service skills to handle service requests and communicate effectively.
• Experience in managing system security and ensuring data integrity.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with report generation and analytics using Cerner Command Language (CCL) and Siemens MedSeries 4.
• Strong organizational skills to prioritize tasks in a dynamic environment.
