The Revenue Cycle Clinical Systems Analyst plays a crucial role in enhancing the performance of revenue cycle management within the organization. This position is responsible for developing and maintaining partnerships with various teams, including Business Intelligence, Epic, Operations, and Clinical teams, to facilitate strategic decision-making and identify opportunities for improvement within the revenue cycle, particularly in patient access. The analyst will focus on accelerating the enablement of reporting and analytics solutions that are essential for optimizing revenue cycle management performance. Reporting directly to the Manager of Business Analytics, the analyst will engage in a variety of tasks that require a blend of analytical skills and healthcare knowledge. In this role, the analyst will design, track, and monitor standard reporting to support revenue cycle management. This includes performing data cleansing and manipulation to ensure the accuracy and integrity of performance data. The analyst will conduct detailed analytical reviews to identify opportunities for improving billing accuracy, enhancing patient access outcomes, accelerating cash collections, and reducing bad debt. Collaboration with the Sr. Director of Revenue Cycle will be essential to analyze and improve revenue processes, ensuring that the organization is operating at peak efficiency. The analyst will also partner with business leaders to design and implement business metrics and dashboards that adhere to the highest standards of analytical rigor and data integrity. A critical aspect of the role involves assessing and screening reporting requests to ensure that the reporting built by the MFA team drives the highest business value. By analyzing revenue cycle data, the analyst will provide insights regarding trends and propose actionable recommendations based on the data. Additionally, the analyst will offer guidance and support to reduce denials and adjustments by identifying root causes, developing solutions, and implementing action plans. Presenting information and data to clinical leaders, executive directors, and revenue cycle partners regarding trends and opportunities will also be a key responsibility. Finally, the analyst will design, develop, and maintain innovative and scalable automation solutions to streamline processes and enhance efficiency.
