About the position

The Revenue Cycle Epic Certified Analyst will play a crucial role in optimizing the revenue cycle processes for our client located in Jackson, MS. This position is a contract role that requires a deep understanding of Epic systems, specifically in the areas of PB (Professional Billing), Cadence, Ambulatory, and Beaker. The analyst will be responsible for reviewing the current Epic build to identify areas for improvement and optimization. This includes enhancing work queue functionality, which is essential for streamlining operations and ensuring efficient revenue cycle management. In addition to optimization tasks, the analyst will assist the Revenue Cycle Director in creating comprehensive reporting and dashboards within the Epic system. This will involve analyzing data and presenting it in a way that supports decision-making and operational improvements. The analyst will also collaborate with the Epic Director to manage tickets placed with the Epic Community Connect host site, ensuring that any issues are addressed promptly and effectively. Training is another key component of this role. The analyst will work closely with the Revenue Cycle Director and Epic Director to develop end-user training materials, ensuring that staff are well-equipped to utilize the Epic system effectively. This position requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to enhancing the overall functionality of the revenue cycle processes.

Responsibilities

  • Review current PB, Cadence, Ambulatory and Beaker Epic build for revenue cycle optimization.
  • Assist Revenue Cycle Director with improving work queue functionality.
  • Assist Revenue Cycle Director with creating reporting and dashboards in Epic.
  • Assist Revenue Cycle Director and Epic Director with tickets placed with Epic Community Connect host site.
  • Assist Revenue Cycle Director with Epic and clearinghouse functionality improvement.
  • Assist Revenue Cycle Director and Epic Director with creating end user training.

Requirements

  • Epic PB certification(s).
  • RHIA/RHIT/CPC certified.
  • Experience in revenue cycle reporting, build, logic, claims adjudication, data, and training clearinghouse.

Nice-to-haves

  • Previous supervisory experience.
  • WebLogic experience helpful.
  • Public health, community health, physician clinic, FQHC, RHC revenue cycle experience.
