About the position

The Revenue Cycle Financial Analyst II plays a crucial role in supporting Cencora's Lash Finance department by providing financial and accounting support for various projects. This position involves tracking expenses, preparing financial reports, performing variance analysis, and ensuring compliance with accounting principles. The analyst acts as a liaison between operations and clients, ensuring accurate billing and financial reporting while maintaining confidentiality and ethical standards.

Responsibilities

  • Provide support with general accounting matters related to complex projects, including billing to contracts.
  • Prepare financial reports, cost budgets, and assist with project setup in the billing system.
  • Produce monthly accounts receivable reports to aid in collections and address past due issues.
  • Coordinate accounting matters between Operations, external clients, and FP&A.
  • Perform financial account verification, audit, processing, account reconciliation, and reporting activities.
  • Monitor accounts receivable to ensure compliance with credit and collection policies while delivering excellent customer service.
  • Ensure revenue recognition complies with generally accepted accounting principles.
  • Assist senior leaders with the review, presentation, and communication of financial results.
  • Maintain the general ledger, perform account reconciliation, and support month-end closing activities.
  • Analyze gross profit components monthly and report significant variances.
  • Post monthly general ledger journal entries, including revenue recognition and cash receipts.
  • Establish and enforce financial policies and procedures, providing trends and recommending actions.
  • Maintain database integrity by entering, verifying, and backing up data via SharePoint.
  • Track client budgets to ensure financial stability at year-end.
  • Maintain technical knowledge through educational workshops and publications.
  • Protect operations by keeping financial information confidential and generating ad hoc accounting reports as needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of four years of progressively responsible experience in a related field.
  • Knowledge of accounting practices and principles.
  • Working knowledge of accounting and planning software, preferably SAP.
  • Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Strong interpersonal, mathematical, and analytical skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Mastery of Microsoft Excel.
