About the position

We are seeking a Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) Project Coordinator to join our team. In this pivotal role, you will ensure the smooth and efficient operation of our revenue cycle processes. Your responsibilities will include coordinating and executing projects, managing resources, and fostering collaboration across teams to optimize our financial performance. You will work closely with RCM leaders and other key stakeholders to develop detailed project plans that encompass scope, objectives, timelines, and resource allocation. As part of your role, you will coordinate with internal departments such as RCM, clinical, and compliance, as well as external stakeholders to ensure alignment on project goals. You will monitor project progress and make necessary adjustments to meet deadlines and objectives. Additionally, you will assist with various RCM-related projects, including data entry and organization, problem resolution, and data analysis. You will maintain multiple email inboxes, directing or escalating correspondence to the appropriate team members, and assist in creating and maintaining presentation documents and data for weekly, monthly, and quarterly leadership updates. Your leadership will be crucial as you lead cross-functional teams through the project lifecycle, from initiation to closure. You will facilitate communication between team members and stakeholders, ensuring that all parties are informed and engaged. As the main point of contact, you will provide guidance to team members involved in projects, fostering a collaborative and results-driven environment. You will also be responsible for tracking and reporting on project performance, providing regular updates to leadership and stakeholders, and maintaining meticulous organization of project activities, including meeting minutes, status reports, and project deliverables. Regular meetings will be conducted to provide updates and changes to leadership and other key stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Associate degree in business administration, healthcare administration, finance, or a related field is preferred.
  • 2+ years of experience in revenue cycle management and/or project management within the healthcare industry.
  • PMP certification or equivalent project management certification is a plus.
  • Strong preference for candidates in Utah that telecommute to office.
  • Ability to thrive in autonomy, take initiative, and find innovative solutions to complex problems.
  • Proven experience managing complex projects, preferably within a healthcare setting.
  • Understanding of healthcare revenue cycle processes.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft tools like Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
  • Ability to learn and navigate multiple project tools and platforms simultaneously.
