About the position

The Revenue Cycle Process Analyst I at Novant Health is primarily responsible for enhancing the patient experience by identifying and implementing operational efficiencies within the Revenue Cycle Services. This role collaborates with leadership and third-party vendors to develop and refine workflows, ensuring that quality care meets quality service. The position also involves creating educational materials for staff to support these initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Deliver the most remarkable patient experience in every dimension, every time.
• Identify opportunities for improvement in operational efficiency within Revenue Cycle Services.
• Develop and implement workflow strategies in collaboration with leadership.
• Work with third-party vendors to develop and implement new and existing services and workflows.
• Partner with Education and Dimensions to create educational materials for RCS and clinical staff.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required; Associate's Degree preferred.
• 3 years of experience in physician practice and/or healthcare analysis preferred.
• Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to exercise initiative, judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making.
• Experience in giving and receiving feedback and team building.
• Knowledge of safety and infection control, regulatory standards, and corporate policies.
• Proficiency in managing multiple projects simultaneously with excellent time management abilities.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with claim edit/rejection processes.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Access database.
