The Revenue Cycle Specialist position is a temporary role focused on managing and processing claims within the revenue cycle for chiropractic, optometry, and behavioral health services. The role requires expertise in navigating clearinghouses, conducting claim audits, and handling accounts receivable follow-up. This hybrid position involves working from home and in the office, with a schedule from Monday to Friday.
Responsibilities
- Processing rejections for medical claims
- Medical Billing
- Processing and completing the appeals process for medical claims
- Payment posting
- AR follow-up
- Auditing claims
- Working with 3rd party billing
- Navigating and working through clearinghouses (Specifically TriZetto)
- Knowledge of medical billing for Chiropractic, Optometry, and Behavioral Health claims
Requirements
- 3 years of experience in revenue cycle management
- Basic Software Skills
- Medical Software proficiency
- Claims Processing experience
- Basic Accounts Receivable knowledge
- Understanding of HIPAA regulations
- Strong written communication skills
- Experience in Revenue Cycle processes
- Payment Posting skills
- AR Follow Up experience
- Medical Appeals knowledge
- Medical Claims Processing expertise
- Medical Billing experience
- Familiarity with Clearinghouse systems, specifically TriZetto
- Knowledge of Optometry billing
