About the position

The Revenue Cycle Systems Analyst plays a crucial role in enhancing the efficiency of the Revenue Cycle by analyzing and evaluating system data and user needs. This position involves providing technical support, managing system changes, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements while facilitating communication between clinical departments and the Revenue Cycle division.

Responsibilities

  • Provides primary technical support and monitoring of systems in use by the Revenue Cycle division.
  • Maintains current knowledge of regulatory and compliance requirements within Revenue Cycle.
  • Participates in departmental staff meetings and provides project updates and evaluations.
  • Works closely with vendors and analysts to manage software upgrades and enhancements.
  • Utilizes change management processes for system changes and manages help desk tickets.
  • Assists with the development of system documentation and workflows for Revenue Cycle departments.
  • Develops and maintains reports to support department dashboards and regulatory reporting.
  • Acts as a liaison between clinical departments and Revenue Cycle for technology solutions.
  • Provides cross coverage of duties with other team members to address user needs.
  • Acts as a subject matter expert on projects and makes recommendations for training and development.
  • Manages small projects and strategic initiatives, creating documentation and managing deadlines.
  • Maintains technical knowledge to support changing technology and participates in industry forums.

Requirements

  • Associates degree in a related field.
  • 1 to 3 years of experience in a related area.
  • Knowledge of financial and/or administrative applications and Microsoft Office.
  • Working knowledge of financial and/or administrative documentation and workflow.
  • Excellent listening, presentation, and communication skills.
  • Ability to coordinate and manage effective meetings and agendas.
  • A valid driver's license is required.
