About the position

CHI Health is seeking a Revenue Cycle Systems Analyst to join our team in the Omaha metro area, specifically at the Creighton University Medical Center - Bergan Mercy campus. This role is ideal for candidates with EPIC and Revenue Cycle experience who are looking to contribute to the development and management of information systems that support our Physician Enterprise Revenue Cycle. The Analyst will work closely with leaders in the organization to gain insights and develop strategic information management systems that enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness. Under the direction of the Supervisor of Revenue Integrity, the Analyst will play a crucial role in providing key strategic information for the Physician Enterprise Revenue Cycle. This includes developing a comprehensive understanding of various information management systems such as Allscripts, Epic, EPrimis, and MD Audit, as well as collaborating with supporting vendors. The Analyst will work directly with the Division Director to establish annual key measurements and operational goals for the revenue cycle processes, ensuring alignment with the organization's strategic objectives. The Analyst will also participate in task forces related to Revenue Cycle issues, process changes, and productivity reporting. This role requires a proactive approach to data management and monitoring, as well as the ability to develop assistance in matters related to Revenue Cycle. The position involves travel to Lincoln as needed, emphasizing the importance of flexibility and adaptability in this role. Overall, the Revenue Cycle Systems Analyst will be instrumental in supporting the strategic plan to improve cash flow and net revenue realization throughout the system, making a significant impact on the organization's financial health.

Responsibilities

  • Develop a thorough knowledge of Allscripts, Epic, EPrimis, MD Audit, and all supporting vendors' information management systems.
  • Work directly with the Division Director to establish annual key measurements and operational goals for the Physician Enterprise Revenue Cycle processes.
  • Serve on task force(s) related to Revenue Cycle issues, process changes, productivity reporting, and management.
  • Support and manage existing capabilities related to the standardization and consolidation of daily/weekly/monthly revenue cycle reporting.
  • Assist in the standardization of goal setting and productivity and performance monitoring.
  • Collect, synthesize, and communicate relevant information through the system to support strategies based on data analytics.
  • Facilitate development and implementation plans to enable effective benchmarking and comparative reporting of key revenue cycle metrics.
  • Perform financial opportunity assessments for the Physician Enterprise to identify opportunities to improve revenue cycle performance.
  • Support strategic plans to focus efforts and resources on high-priority areas to improve cash flow and net revenue realization throughout the system.

Requirements

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • 3-5 years of experience in Revenue Cycle and/or healthcare strongly preferred.
