About the position

The Revenue Cycle Systems Manager will ensure limited disruption in claim generation, lead implementations of systems, help to optimize existing processes, and overall will be a key resource in reducing average days in accounts receivable (AR).

Responsibilities

• Works as a main point of contact for end users hospital wide, as well as offsite vendors for purposes of troubleshooting and account resolution.
• Acts as a liaison between the IT department, end users, and clinics regarding specific Soarian application and interface issues.
• Identify opportunities for vendor performance data, identifying gaps and/or areas for improvement.
• Evaluates, designs, codes, tests, and implements custom or vendor supplied systems software.
• Determines and identifies business and system issues through interaction with internal and external customers.

Requirements

• High School Diploma Required.
• Bachelor's Degree Preferred or Five (5) years related work experience in hospital business office and/or related area.
• Relevant healthcare revenue cycle operations and technical support related experience.
• System development, implementation, and system support for one or more of the following revenue cycle functions: Patient Accounting, Patient Access, Charge Capture or Patient Financial Services at both the functional and technical layers.
• At least 5 years experience Required.
