About the position

As a Revenue Enablement Analyst within the Neuromodulation division at Boston Scientific, you will be a key player in driving revenue growth through the development of data and reporting capabilities. This hybrid role is designed for a motivated self-starter who possesses a strong work ethic and a passion for leveraging CRM and digital enablement platforms to enhance business performance. You will collaborate with various stakeholders to identify business needs, translate them into actionable use cases, and prioritize initiatives based on strategic goals and value. Your expertise will be crucial in defining key metrics and KPIs to measure the health and performance of the business. In this role, you will streamline data flows to create a single source of truth, ensuring accuracy and reliability in data reporting. You will utilize your knowledge of business processes and technical aspects of data systems to troubleshoot discrepancies and identify opportunities for improvement. Additionally, you will harness existing reporting and visualization tools to craft intuitive analytical reports that provide insights for field personnel and leadership. As a product owner for Salesforce.com functionalities, you will support the rollout of new features and ensure optimal utilization across the organization. Your responsibilities will also include leveraging digital tools to automate processes, implementing sales enablement technologies, and shaping the enterprise systems strategy by integrating new digital and AI tools. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to align processes and develop standard operating procedures, ensuring consistency and efficiency across the organization. Your project management skills will be essential in delivering projects on time and within scope, while your communication abilities will help you provide clear updates to stakeholders on project status and risks. Ultimately, your role will be pivotal in enhancing operational excellence and supporting the collective success of the team.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and understand business needs for data and translate them into use cases.
  • Define key metrics and KPIs to measure performance and health of the business.
  • Streamline data flows to create a single source of truth for data.
  • Troubleshoot data flow discrepancies and help problem solve data opportunities.
  • Harness existing reporting tools and technologies to craft intuitive analytical reports and insights.
  • Lead the development and implementation of innovative reporting tools to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Act as a product owner supporting the development of new Salesforce.com functionalities.
  • Leverage digital tools to automate and streamline processes.
  • Implement and manage sales enablement technologies to improve sales efficiency and productivity.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to optimize efficiency for Field sales and commercial back-office functions.
  • Develop and document standard operating procedures (SOPs), data definitions, and process maps.
  • Exhibit outstanding project management capabilities, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within scope.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders, providing clear updates on status, risks, and timelines.
  • Liaise with IT partners on key projects to ensure quality product delivery.
  • Display a sense of urgency in responding to requests and providing timely support.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, Data Analytics, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in Revenue operations, Sales Ops, sales enablement, or a related function.
  • Minimum of 3 years working experience as a data analyst or similar role with experience in data tools like SQL, Python, or VBA programming.
  • 2+ years of experience in analytical visualization tools like Tableau, Qlikview, or similar.
  • At least 1-2 years of experience with building and rolling out Salesforce or similar CRM capabilities.
  • Expert level experience with back-office application skills, including Excel and MS Access.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and strong writing and verbal communication skills.
  • Desire to work in a high-paced collaborative, teamwork-oriented environment.
  • Ability to travel up to 20% domestically.

Nice-to-haves

  • Commercial back-office experience working in the Medical Device or Life Sciences industry.
  • Knowledge of Boston Scientific commercial systems and processes.
  • 1-2 years of experience with enterprise systems like SAP, Anaplan, Model N, Conga, etc.
  • Experience in applying statistical modeling and predictive analytics to solve business problems.
  • Prior experience in process mapping and documentation.
  • Prior experience in implementing AI use cases and other commercial digital platforms.
  • Proven experience influencing change.
