About the position

As a Revenue Growth Manager, you will play a crucial role in the development of consistent and profitable growth for Welch's through the RGM levers of promotion, pricing, trade and mix management. You understand what drives profitable growth and how we can optimize it. You master financial KPI's and combined with other data resources you give the most optimal recommendations on strategic pricing, promotional plans, trade spend, and other planned growth strategies. This role involves developing and implementing strategic frameworks, governance routines, and analytical tools to provide actionable recommendations that improve the return on investment (ROI) of promotion investments. In this high-impact role, you will be working collaboratively with cross-functional stakeholders, particularly the sales team.

Responsibilities

  • Drive strategic price and trade rate recommendations per category and customer, considering internal profitability, external landscape, and overall company financial goals
  • Closely partner with finance, sales planning, sales, & marketing teams to ensure the execution of pricing strategy is realized
  • Help drive the development of pricing and promotion tools and represent sales organization in corporate initiatives surrounding pricing and trade spend
  • Own the trade promotion management system including annual promotion planning, ongoing trade spend analysis, in-flight optimization, and ad-hoc promotion approval focused on effectiveness and efficiency
  • Partner with sales and finance leadership to ensure trade optimization plans are consistent with overall organizational goals
  • Be a catalyst for RGM understanding and adoption within the sales, marketing, & finance functions

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, Finance, or any other relevant field
  • 5+ years of business experience, preferably spent in CPG (Consumer Packaged Goods)
  • Experience working with POS (Points of Sale), panel, shopper and TPO (Trade Promotion Optimization) tools (Nielsen, Circana)
  • Strong analytics skills in Excel & Power BI ideally, experience with promotion & planning systems is a plus
