About the position

As a Revenue Growth & Strategy Analyst at Royal Caribbean Group, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our revenue strategy and growth initiatives. This position is responsible for measuring the effectiveness of revenue initiatives and executing revenue opportunities that exceed $150 million annually. You will analyze the performance of current growth initiatives and identify areas for improvement, contributing to the profitable growth of the Royal Caribbean International brand. Your work will involve best-in-class data extraction and translation, allowing you to proactively identify opportunities that drive revenue growth. In this role, you will maintain tools such as automated Power BI reporting for promotions dashboards, collaborating with both domestic and international product teams within Revenue Management to create strategic and tactical pricing programs in AS400 across various countries and currencies. Continuous analysis of revenue performance for ongoing Revenue Management projects will be a key responsibility, as will identifying new revenue-generating opportunities through thorough internal and external research and analyses. You will build business cases that support the long-term financial impact of growth initiatives, leveraging your technical and advanced mathematical skills to procure, interpret, and convert data into insightful analyses. Your ability to translate complex data into a coherent narrative will be essential as you deliver updates to stakeholders across various departments and prepare performance updates for Senior Leadership on a recurring basis. This position requires an entrepreneurial mindset and the ability to work with minimal supervision, as well as a willingness to take on immediate product and project responsibilities. You will also be expected to perform any other job-related duties assigned by your supervisor or management.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain tools, including automated Power BI reporting, for promotions dashboards.
  • Create strategic and tactical price programs in AS400 for all countries and in multiple currencies in conjunction with Revenue Management teams.
  • Conduct continuous analysis on revenue performance of ongoing Revenue Management projects.
  • Identify new revenue-generating opportunities through internal and external research and analyses; build business cases supporting long-term financial impact of growth initiatives.
  • Leverage technical and advanced mathematical skills to procure, interpret, and convert data into insightful analysis.
  • Translate and develop overall story to deliver to stakeholders across various departments.
  • Aid in the preparation and delivery of performance updates to Senior Leadership on a recurring basis.
  • Perform any other job-related duties assigned by supervisor or management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree (BA) from a four-year college or university required, with a focus in a quantitative discipline preferred.
  • Master of Business Administration (MBA) or Master's degree (MA) preferred.
  • One to three years of related experience in financial/business analysis or a related field required.
  • Familiarization with revenue management concepts and tools preferred.
  • Demonstrated understanding of Revenue Management concepts and tools or basic economics.
  • Previous experience with Sales, Marketing, Analytics preferred but not required.
  • Experience in implementing system enhancements and decision-making tools preferred but not required.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and deliver high-quality, clear, and concise presentations.
  • Demonstrated experience in project management.
  • Proficiency in Excel, Brio Intelligence/Hyperion Studio, Toad Oracle SQL, PowerBI, Word, and PowerPoint required; ability to manipulate data is essential.
  • Knowledge of reservations system and revenue management data preferred but not required.
  • Attention to detail required.
  • Willingness to accept immediate product and project responsibility.
  • Ability to operate in a team environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and demonstrated maturity.
  • Demonstrated aptitude for problem-solving and problem identification.
  • Ability to collect, analyze, and interpret revenue performance data.
