The Revenue Integrity Analyst plays a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and compliance of billing processes within the Patient Financial Services department. This position involves analyzing department charges, resolving discrepancies, and collaborating with the Patient Accounts department to maintain the integrity of the billing cycle. The analyst is responsible for routine audits and reporting any issues to the Director of Revenue Integrity, contributing to the overall efficiency of the revenue cycle operations.

Responsibilities

• Analyze department charges for discrepancies and provide immediate resolution to maintain the billing cycle.
• Collaborate with the Patient Accounts department to resolve claim edits based on CMS Guidelines.
• Report any identified chargemaster discrepancies to the Director of Revenue Integrity.
• Review claims for missed procedures, supplies, or medication charging.
• Perform routine audits over assigned departments to identify issues that may lead to revenue leakage.
• Complete any additional duties related to the operations of the Revenue Cycle and Billing.

Requirements
