About the position

The Revenue Integrity Analyst III at Stanford Health Care - University HealthCare Alliance is responsible for conducting in-depth analysis of the clinic's legacy system related to scheduling and billing workflows. This role supports the transition and integration of billing into the Epic Resolute module, ensuring accurate charge capture and coding. The analyst will provide real-time education and training to providers, perform charge reconciliation, and collaborate with the Digital Solutions team to enhance revenue integrity and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct analysis of legacy systems including scheduling templates and charge documentation.
  • Perform charge reconciliation and posting into the Epic Resolute system.
  • Support the transition to Epic EMR by reviewing coding and documentation.
  • Provide training and education to providers on the Epic EMR system.
  • Create trackers for communication within the revenue cycle and clinic operations.
  • Develop training materials and presentations for pre and post Go-Live education.
  • Monitor assigned activities and issues related to registration and scheduling.
  • Review encounters for missed revenue and high-level coding accuracy.
  • Stay updated on changes in coding and reimbursement requirements.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 5+ years of recent coding experience or applicable physician practice setting
  • Advanced skills in Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio
  • Strong verbal/written communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to organize and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and electronic calendars
  • Demonstrated knowledge of medical coding (CPT4, HCPCs, ICD-9)
  • Knowledge of Medicare, MediCal, and commercial insurance preferred
