The position requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while influencing others without direct management.

Responsibilities

• Strengthen revenue by improving clinical and financial workflows.
• Prevent revenue leakage and compliance risks through effective processes.
• Ensure documentation and financial practices can withstand audits.
• Review and interpret managed care contracts and billing guidelines.
• Generate accurate reports and maintain proficiency in coding and billing practices.
• Adapt quickly to new systems and tools as needed.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in healthcare, IT, finance, or a closely related field preferred.
• Ability to obtain professional revenue integrity certification within one year.
• Strong computer skills including Excel, Word, Outlook, and Windows applications.
• Well-developed analytical and organizational skills with critical thinking ability.
• Extreme attention to detail and strong follow-up skills.
• Ability to complete complex tasks with or without supervision.

Nice-to-haves

• Knowledge of CPT, ICD-10 coding, and institutional billing.
• Knowledge of revenue cycle processes and reimbursement methodologies.
• Familiarity with the charge development process and cost accounting.
