About the position

The Revenue Integrity Analyst plays a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of revenue cycle processes within the healthcare setting. This position is responsible for compiling daily census reports, balancing inpatient room rates, and resolving discrepancies before claim submissions. The analyst acts as the primary contact for registration issues and is tasked with troubleshooting accounts receivable errors while conducting audits to identify root causes of discrepancies, reporting findings to the Director of Revenue Integrity.

Responsibilities

• Compile and prepare daily census reports.
• Balance inpatient room rates.
• Resolve discrepancies prior to claim submission.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for registration issues.
• Ensure accurate and timely reporting of census information.
• Troubleshoot accounts receivable (AR) batch errors.
• Perform audits to identify root causes of errors and report findings.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, Finance, or a related field.
• Associate's degree with equivalent work experience will be considered.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in healthcare revenue cycle or a related area.
• Experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems.
• Knowledge of Medicare and Medicaid billing regulations.
