About the position

The Revenue Integrity Analyst at Insight Global is responsible for ensuring accurate revenue cycle processes for clients by analyzing outpatient medical coding and revenue integrity workflows. This role involves collaboration with finance and coding teams to optimize charge capture, minimize denials, and ensure compliance with regulations. The analyst will review outpatient medical charges for accuracy, evaluate CPT codes and diagnoses, and investigate denial trends to recommend corrective actions.

Responsibilities

• Analyze outpatient medical coding and revenue integrity workflows.
• Review and analyze outpatient medical charges for accuracy and compliance with coding standards.
• Evaluate CPT codes and diagnoses to ensure proper documentation and coding practices.
• Investigate and analyze denial trends to identify root causes.
• Recommend corrective actions to improve revenue capture.
• Collaborate with coding, billing, and clinical teams to ensure seamless revenue cycle operations.

Requirements

• 5 years of outpatient coding experience.
• CPC, CCS, AAPC, or other coding certification.
• 1-2 years in a revenue integrity role (should be most recent experience).
• Knowledge of charges, diagnoses, denials, and CPT codes.
• Knowledge of the Medicare payment system.
• Audit experience.
• EMR experience, specifically with Epic.
