This position is integral to a high-profile team focused on enhancing revenue through the improvement of clinical and financial workflows. The role aims to prevent revenue leakage and compliance risks by implementing ethical and efficient processes and controls throughout patient care, ensuring proper documentation and adherence to sound financial practices.

Responsibilities

• Strengthen revenue by improving clinical and financial workflows.
• Prevent revenue leakage and compliance risks through effective processes.
• Implement internal controls across the continuum of patient care.
• Ensure appropriate documentation and sound financial practices.
• Support charging, coding, and billing practices using published materials and online references.
• Complete complex tasks and projects with or without supervision.
• Review and interpret managed care contracts and billing guidelines.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in healthcare, IT, finance, or a closely related field preferred.
• Ability to obtain professional revenue integrity certification within one year.
• Strong computer skills including working knowledge of Excel, Word, Outlook, and Windows applications.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills.
• Well-developed analytic and organizational skills, critical thinking, and ability to meet deadlines.
• Extreme attention to detail with highly developed organizational and follow-up skills.
• Ability to adapt quickly to new systems and tools.
• Proficiency in report generation and accuracy.
• Knowledge of CPT, ICD-10 coding, and institutional billing.
• Knowledge of revenue cycle processes and various reimbursement methodologies.
