About the position

The Revenue Management Analyst plays a crucial role in managing room inventory to maximize revenue for the cluster. This position involves maintaining accurate information in the reservation system, preparing competitive analyses, and managing room authorizations, rates, and restrictions. The analyst will also be responsible for month-end reporting, forecasting, and providing analytical support to the Revenue Management team.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the management of rooms inventory to maximize cluster rooms revenue.
• Maintain accuracy of information and enhance automation efforts in the reservation system.
• Prepare competitive analysis and supporting documents for market sales strategy meetings.
• Manage room authorizations, rates, and restrictions, and communicate strategies to properties.
• Perform Revenue Management month-end reporting and auditing.
• Provide forward-looking information for forecasting and targeting need areas.
• Generate, process, and update all property and market Revenue Management reports.
• Assist with system maintenance, including inputting rate hurdles and monitoring forecasted demand.
• Train new associates on revenue management tools.
• Implement hotel sales strategies in reservation and inventory systems.
• Follow company policies and procedures and maintain confidentiality of proprietary information.
• Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards.
• Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others.

Requirements

• High School diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• At least 1-year related work experience.
