The Revenue Management Assistant at Waikoloa Beach Marriott Resort & Spa plays a crucial role in managing room inventory to maximize revenue. This position involves maintaining accurate information in the reservation system, preparing competitive analyses, and assisting in the implementation of hotel sales strategies. The role requires collaboration with the Revenue Management team to generate reports, conduct audits, and forecast financial expectations while ensuring compliance with company policies and maintaining high standards of guest service.

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing rooms inventory to maximize cluster rooms revenue.
• Maintain accuracy of information and enhance automation efforts in the reservation system.
• Prepare competitive analysis and supporting documents for market sales strategy meetings.
• Manage room authorizations, rates, and restrictions, communicating strategies to properties.
• Perform Revenue Management month-end reporting and auditing, providing forward-looking information for forecasting.
• Generate, process, and update all property and market Revenue Management reports.
• Assist with system maintenance, including inputting rate hurdles and monitoring forecasted demand.
• Train new associates on revenue management tools as necessary.
• Implement hotel sales strategies in reservation and inventory systems.
• Follow company policies and procedures, ensuring professional appearance and confidentiality.
• Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards, addressing their service needs.
• Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others, responding to employee concerns.
• Comply with quality assurance expectations and standards.

Requirements

• High School diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• At least 1-year related work experience.
