About the position

The Revenue Management Analyst at Disney Cruise Line is responsible for fleet-wide pricing, revenue planning, and inventory control. This role focuses on improving shipboard revenue through data analysis and strategic pricing recommendations. The analyst collaborates with various teams to develop and implement pricing strategies that align with revenue goals, while also creating automated reporting and data processes to enhance operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Work with Technology, Operations, and other Revenue Management teams to create automated reporting & data processes.
  • Evaluate, suggest, and implement improvements and changes to department processes and reports that currently use Python, SQL, and Tableau.
  • Provide backup to other team members in creating weekly reporting on Guest shipboard spending.
  • Develop reporting to analyze the business from a variety of data sources for viewers across the organization.
  • Leverage data and strategic thinking to assist in achieving short & long term revenue goals through ad hoc projects.
  • Develop pricing recommendations and strategies through data-driven recommendations.
  • Partner with various departments to develop, implement and evaluate pricing strategies.
  • Collaborate with various departments to develop pricing strategies.
  • Create management/executive communication.
  • Partner with Technology to monitor system changes and processes.

Requirements

  • Solid understanding of SQL, Python, R, and/or other programming languages.
  • Experience creating reporting in Tableau (or similar BI Tools).
  • Excel and PowerPoint proficiency.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Self-motivated and meticulous, able to quickly learn new systems and processes.
  • Strong sense of responsibility, ownership, and pride in delivering quality results.
  • Ability to explain complex analytics in an easily understandable way and enjoy storytelling to engage and influence your audience.
  • Strong attention to detail and data accuracy, with the ability to think holistically.
  • Natural curiosity and inquisitiveness, enjoying solving problems and answering questions.
  • Ability to work in a team environment, in person and virtually, with a positive demeanor.
  • Capability to meet deadlines, balance multiple priorities, and perform job responsibilities accurately with minimal direction.
