The Revenue Management Analyst at Bar-S Foods Co. is responsible for researching and analyzing current trends to propose effective revenue management strategies and methodologies that align with the company's business objectives. This role involves creating and utilizing margin analysis reporting to identify revenue opportunities, evaluating and recommending actions for revenue and margin corrections, and leading sales and financial teams through the implementation of these recommendations. The analyst will also build and maintain data cubes from various sources, create scenario-based forecasts, and measure business results against these forecasts, providing visual representations to support insights communicated to leadership. In addition to these responsibilities, the Revenue Management Analyst will evaluate, develop, and implement revenue management practices in collaboration with the Executive Sales Management team. This includes procedures for revenue opportunities, post-mortem analysis, and reporting requirements, as well as implementing sales data capturing procedures. The analyst will download data from multiple sources, analyze business results versus forecasts, and create graphs to support insights presented to leadership. They will also examine current revenue management processes, recommend and implement improvements, document process changes, and innovate existing workflows. The role requires gathering and assembling internal and market data, reviewing pricing and cost trends, and assessing the margin impact of changes in product costs. The analyst will maintain and update documentation of policies and procedures within workflows and projects, categorize data by product, time frame, source, meat type, and promoted product group, and collaborate with the Information Technology department to manage and update multiple data cubes. Other duties may be assigned as necessary.
