About the position

The Revenue Management Analyst at Disney is responsible for driving commercial, financial, and operational value for Disney Parks through strategic and analytical thinking. This role involves shaping business decisions across various lines of business, including Ticketing, Resorts, Merchandise, and Food & Beverage, focusing on yield management, revenue planning, forecasting, pricing, and optimization. The analyst will utilize predictive analytics and data visualization to support financial planning and enhance business strategies.

Responsibilities

  • Develop mathematical and statistical models to support revenue forecasting for various products.
  • Support financial planning processes, including the Annual Operating Plan and Monthly Forecasts.
  • Identify business anomalies and patterns using analytical tools to inform strategies and initiatives.
  • Present complex analytical findings in clear business terms to facilitate understanding among business partners and executives.
  • Evaluate key business drivers to measure the success of commercial and operational decisions and develop strategies to achieve business objectives.
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Consumer Insights, Legal, and Sales to communicate performance and identify strategic opportunities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Analytics, Mathematics, Economics, Industrial Engineering, Statistics, Econometrics, or a related quantitative field.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced skills in VBA or Power Query.
  • Experience in data manipulation using SQL.
  • Knowledge of data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, adaptable to different audiences.
  • Strong analytical problem-solving and creative thinking skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines with minimal supervision.
  • Experience in extracting and assimilating data from multiple sources.

Nice-to-haves

  • 1-3 years of experience in statistical analysis, business analysis, or strategy development.
  • Familiarity with revenue management concepts such as forecasting and optimization.
  • Experience with advanced modeling tools like R or Python.
  • Knowledge of Walt Disney Parks & Resorts operations and product offerings.
