About the position

The Revenue Management Analyst plays a crucial role in evaluating sailing performance and revenue metrics to optimize pricing and inventory actions aimed at maximizing ticket revenue growth and total occupancy for Carnival Cruise Lines. This position involves analyzing market trends, competitor pricing, and internal data to align pricing strategies with consumer value perceptions across various market segments.

Responsibilities

  • Determine pricing and inventory for assigned CCL product portfolio to drive net ticket revenue.
  • Formulate and implement optimal pricing and inventory practices using analytics and best practices.
  • Analyze the impact on booking demand due to changes in the competitive landscape.
  • Conduct internal and external competitor price analysis to stay aware of current pricing and market trends.
  • Establish tactical methodologies to optimize revenue and total occupancy at the market level and various booking channels.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Sailing Support, and Reservations to ensure adherence to optimal pricing and inventory controls.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Statistics, Business, Marketing or a related field required.
  • 3+ years of relevant work experience in Revenue Management or a similar analytical role required.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of revenue management mathematical and statistical concepts, theories, principles, and practices.
  • Solid understanding of operational assets including pricing systems and inventory management capabilities.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, prioritization, and time management skills.
  • Sound decision-making, interpersonal, critical thinking, and resourcefulness skills.
